TextSpy provides a Drive Box, a Directory Box, a File List, and a
Subdirectory Search Box that you can make disappear with one click.
Dual work areas are provided for easy mutiple file editing,
with 'Cut and Paste' and 'Drag and Drop' capabilities.
If you forget which file you have selected, don't worry.
TextSpy has included an Active Window Indicator (seen here in red).
You can return the Active Window to full size with the click of one
button on your toolbar.

Do you ever get tired of that plain white background, with plain
jane black text? TextSpy gives you the ability to change your
background colors, font style, color and size, for each
of your two work areas.
Do your fear the constant scrolling necessary to get through
your directory tree? With one click you can expand the size of your
Directory Box to navigate to your desired folder even faster,
then with one more click, you can return the Directory Box to its
normal size.
Path Names and File Names are always listed directly above the
work area of the files being worked on (seen in blue).

The TextSpy Toolbar and Menu Bar provides additonal one

The task of cleaning unneeded files from your harddrive has been
greatly simplified with TextSpy. Go into any directory on your harddrive,
Windows is always an interesting place to start, and look at the contents
of all .txt files or any other extension files. Discover items that you
wished you had known was there, then put them on your TextSpy favorites
list. Uncover trash cluttering your harddrive, and delete those files
directly from within TextSpy (Please be careful with this feature).
Create and edit .RTF files with TextSpy or look at the code behind
the RTF (Rich Text Format), most commonly used for Windows
Help Files. A floating RTF toolbar makes it easy.

The SpyOn feature allows you to select any file extension desired,
for browsing in your List Box or for use with the Search Tools.
You may expand the window size to full screen or export files
you may want to work with to the ScratchPad. You can create nearly
unlimited instances of ScratchPad to further simplify your task.
